Can I set up a system on behalf of someone else?

If you have purchased the Assure for someone else you can easily configure it beforehand by visiting myacticheck.com and clicking on ‘Register’.

Registering a wearer account will send a link in an email which will need to be verified. Ideally this should be the email address that belongs to the wearer but it might be one that another person who is setting the system up owns. If this is the case and they are planning to be a responder themselves they should avoid using their own email address as email addresses must be unique. If you don’t have a second email address to use it is worth bearing in mind that some email providers, such as Google, allow you to append your normal email address with ‘+…’ and have this delivered into your main account. Free webmail accounts can also easily be set up.

Went you follow the link in the invitation email you will be invited to enter the Base registration code on the side of the box to enable the installation.

If you have configured the Assure base and band remotely,  install it at the wearers home and wait a short while until the internet light shows then squeeze both buttons on the band, The wearer’s phone number you have submitted will receive an automated call asking for ‘1’ to be pressed on their keypad. The system will then be active.
