Digital switchover compatibility

The Acticheck life-saving wristband will continue to work after the digital switchover.

Digital switchover involves replacing your existing Internet router with a new one which can support digital voice calls. When your new router is installed, make sure to plug in the blue Ethernet cable between the router and the Acticheck base unit and it will immediately start communicating with our servers.

We recommend informing your telecoms company that you will be using a personal alarm system that is compatible with the digital switchover and relies on a live broadband internet connection. This will encourage the provider to ensure they give you a router that has cellular backup in the event of a cable service outage.

If you have an Acticheck cellular-enabled system this will continue to work without a broadband connection.
