What is the range of the band?

The life-saving wristband has been designed to operate throughout a typical home and garden. It employs proprietary radio technology to achieve a range far greater than can be achieved using other technologies such as WiFi. The line-of-sight range is over 200m however It is difficult to give an exact operating range because different buildings affect wireless signal in different ways.

For optimum range choose a location for your base that is away from obstructions such as water pipes and other electrical equipment (see Positioning your base, and use the instructions at Range testing to check that coverage is satisfactory’.
