We've moved to this product from Buddi.

The way it works as a phone call was a concern but the calls come in from the same number so can be stored as a priority number so it will still ring in sleep mode, for example, which is great.

Set-up was good.

We've not had to use this "for real" (thank goodness), but when we tested it it worked as it should and cycled through the responders with telephone calls.

The different options for checks and emails are good. I like the daily email that reports that the system is working and the wearer is active.

We've not had to use the additional responder service, so can't comment, but if it is as reliable as the rest of the service I'm sure it will be there if we need it.

Still as comfortable as the old one but much easier to fasten & unfasten

I was reassured each I was in hospital you contacted me and I was pleased you were still doing that.

I've been an Acticheck customer for several years and although I've been lucky enough not to need help so far, I really value the peace of mind that it's there should I need it. Renewal is a doddle even for a complete technical idiot like me. Slide out the old puck from the wristband and slide in the new one. The activation instruction leaflet is clear with step by step instructions for linking the new puck to the base. There is even a freepost return packet to send your old puck back for recycling.

Always very helpful support. I have had problems with pods hopping out of straps an gettin new ones into the original hard straps all now resolved.

The acticheck service is excellent as is their renewal service where they replace the active electronics to ensure the battery and everything works seamlessly for the next 12 months.

It is much better than the plastic one but not exceptional.

Working well so far

Do not dislike anything. Any problems have been at our end. We find everyone very helpful.

So much easier to fit on your wrist and less likely to be pulled off accidentally.

Quick and easy to renew.

This new strap is a great improvement on the old one. It feels more comfortable and is a lot easier to do up. It is easier as well to do it up to the right tightness. The colour is better too.

No problems at all.

This newer band has more of a tendency to rotate around the wrist but I’ve now tightened it fully and it is now much more stable.

Great service helping me with a problem I had … sorted.

New puck arrived very quickly and was easy to fit, although I am still at a loss to know how and when the original slid out.

Battery started to run down last week. Was sent new one via post on following day with clear instructions on how to replace it in the wristband- easy peasy! Thanks Acti check

The product has mostly given me the peace of mind that I was after, as I live on my own and I particularly like the ‘I’m OK’ checks. However, I had hoped that, having purchased the cellular version, it would have wider coverage, as I often get emails to say the check was missed as I was out of range. Also when I purchased the product I wasn’t aware that there would be such a high annual expense to replace the battery.

Great product and great customer service

The unit is a bit bulky. But it does what I want it to do

I have recently changed my wristband from a rubber one to the new velcro and find it so much easier to wear. Several of my friends now own one and I am a responder.

It's easier to wear and neater.
