There is an extremely knowledgeable and helpful team at Acticheck which is only equalled by their amazing product.

So far so good but I had to get a tecky in to set it all up. You young ones tend to forget that we are not ALL IT competent. And it is expensive but as was advertised in The Oldie I presume they know it's a quality and fail safe product ……. time will tell. Even to the tecky it took a long time to set up.

This has been an absolutely fantastic buy- our parents are happy to wear them and we all feel much more secure

This system does exactly what I need to give me back-up safety while living independently. It provides a daily check (the only system I found which offers that) and the ability to call for help both at home and when out. Connects pretty efficiently through my mobile phone when out. The very occasional software or hardware induced glitch has been dealt with immediately and efficiently by the Acticheck personnel. I am impressed with the way the system has been thought out and implemented. Thoroughly recommended as a safeguard for anyone – of any age – who lives independently without regular contact with others, but needs to know that in case of illness or accident, someone will notice and feed the dog.

Great product. And the style of the whole presentation is so good.I particularly liked the ease with which I , as an 'oldie', was able to set everything in motion.Now I and the responders i.e. the family, know I am still vertical each day.

I spoke to the developers before purchase and was impressed by their integrity and the product.
Once purchased the unit setup was very simple and has impressed me. We did have a small glitch, which turned out to be operator error, thereby exposing us to the technical support which was exemplary.

In summary this is a fantastic device which has given someone renewed confidence and a sense of security.

I was extremely glad of the easy/quick response after being taken ill with asthma unable to breath, and going into hospital, only 3 days after joining.

As the patient, however, I do recommend NOT setting it up yourself using your own email address, as I did, so that you’re not sent emails from Acticheck being asked to contact responders to help them sort out any initial problems when you’re the patient and in hospital, as I was.

However, upon my return from hospital, I was very glad to be able to immediately speak to Karl, in person, to iron out any difficulties and to nominate a close relative to deal with the technical details, when necessary.

It’s great knowing there is such personal service always there, with someone to talk to, experienced in care, monitoring your health 24/7, wherever you are, when you need it most. The monitor is perfect for my needs as I’m very active and enjoy living independently. Excellent response too… as after pressing the emergency buttons when taken ill recently, unable to breath, I had an ambulance at my door in 3 minutes! Thank you Acticheck. 😀

I bought this for my father who has had a number of falls. The system works very well, thankfully he’s not fallen but when he does move for a while the system activates letting us know to call. The ring round is great and works well as does the information provided over the phone to responders. Being a first responder myself I would say get this if you have an elderly person you care about and worry about, it will put your mind at rest and theirs.

Has given my mother the reassurance she was looking for following the loss of her husband. Easy to use and set up.

Like many people, I wasn't particularly familiar with the many different types of monitor. In our case, we needed something that was super simple for the wearer, but gave us a good idea as to their activity and could let us know if there was an issue.

I spent a long time researching, and this was the best solution by far. I went for the Cellular version as the broadband often goes down so this enables monitoring at all times.

It also gives the option of moving with the wearer, should they go and stay with someone.

I also like the fact the bracelet doesn't need charging, you just wear it all the time. So simple and easy for the wearer.

The help online was fantastic, shipping was very prompt, and the product was very easy to setup.

This gives great peace of mind to all concerned.

This device really gave us piece of mind when our mother lived so far away. The fact that is could work on its own mobile phone SIM, as the house no longer had internet, was a game changer.

I recently lost my husband and soon realised that I would be alone, I needed assurance that if anything should happen, accident, fall etc that someone would be alerted. Acticheck covered all my fears and my family are happy with the service it gives. We tested it out a few times and were extremely pleased with the quick response. I wasn't sure about the bracelet but used to wearing it at all times now. Highly recommend this product.

This is a very good system for those of you who need to make sure there is cover for elderly parents. It does enable us to leave the house for short periods with certainty about contact in an emergency.

I am really impressed with this device and service. It was delivered quickly and it is so refreshing to buy a product with instructions that are clear and not in poorly-translated Chinese. The portal is easy to navigate and use and my mother seems really comfortable wearing the device. I have already recommended it to others.

Everything it promised

I haven't had it long but so far am finding it comfortable to wear and my son tells me that he knows when I am moving about at night so clearly it is working well.

So far so good. The strap was a bit awkward to fasten first of all but my mum finds it comfortable to wear. She hasn’t had to alert for help yet but is comforting to know that she has it if she needs help. Customer service is excellent if you need any help with set up.

Great device – having researched the other solutions for my elderly Parents nothing else ticks all the boxes! Very easy ordering process & prompt delivery. So far so good. The only difficulty I had was with the second User Band and activating the notification process (alerts) as I assumed the default automated calling numbers would be the same as the main User in the same household ? but they need to be set up independently, which has proved a bit difficult during 'lock-down' – Overall 5*

This is now in use by recently widowed mother, She's 81, rather frail and almost completely deaf. She has had the odd fall, and until recently, my father was able to phone me if he needed help to lift her off the floor.

My mother has difficulty using the phone, and unless she had her (almost unused) mobile with her, she could be on the floor until my next daily visit.

After plenty of research, this seemed to be the ideal solution, predominantly down to the 'fit and forget, wear it all the time, waterproof, wristband.

My mother is rather irritable at the moment and I expected some resistance from her when I presented the wristband to her, but after one 15 second demonstration, she was completely taken with it.

Bought direct from Acticheck, the instructions are well written and easy to follow. I set the system up at my house, via the Acticheck website; I had a couple of questions which were dealt with quickly via the low-cost helpline, and that was it.

The bracelet is easy to 'customise' via the website, ranging from a simple alarm button, to temperature and movement sensing.

I could go on, but we are so pleased with this system. I'll update this review in a few weeks!

Purchased for an Uncle that often has Stoke like seizures that cause his body to go ridged, but his arms moveable. This makes getting to the phone difficult and painful.
Last night he had one of these seizures and was able to squeeze the buttons and get the help he needed with in minutes. The last time he had one was before purchasing this and he was stuck for over an hour before he was able to edge himself close enough to the phone to call.
Due to the lockdown we have not been able to check the out of the house and app function.
We did a lot of research into; easy to use, waterproof, long battery life and useable in and out of the house. The Acticheck ticked all of these boxes.

Also whilst looking we had a couple of question which were answered quickly and with good clear information.
