I had thought this would feel rather cumbersome, but that is not the case. It is very comfortable and I hardly notice it (until it buzzes with an ‘R U OK?’ check). Modern design makes it look like any Fitbit watch ! Has given the peace of mind that I needed.

This makes me feel as I live on my own. My daughter is eight miles away but can get to me quickly ! I’m not ready yet to go to a care home.

Fast, Simple to use service and good value for money

There is nothing to dislike only praise for such a brilliant invention. It is also the best looking which is important to me and even uplifts me to wear it due to the chic but unobtrusive styling. The one time I slipped and fell down a muddy footpath, the Acticheck didn't register it. Luckily I know how to fall, even so i was in pain for several weeks. It often seems not to talk to the phone app when I'm out. I'm getting fed up, too, with being called by alarmed relatives at 7 am, who have been alerted to the fact that I've fallen downstairs when i've actually been asleep and motionless in bed; also with getting bleeps from the base station that seem to require answering at all hours of the day as well as the two regular times we've programmed, when I still barely notice the buzz even when in the same room. I feel there are some problems with the service that need to be addressed. I have a lot of bills to pay already this month that are weighing on me, another £130 (which I was not expecting) is not a very welcome request right now.

I was offered the alternative wristband, which is (black) nylon with hook & loop fastening. It feels much more comfortable (no fixing stud to press on your wrist) and looks 100% better than the silicone one, although it is more difficult (but not impossible) to insert the puck.
I'm very happy with this choice.

Cant believe the difference with the new corded cotton/nylon bracelet. Gone are all the daily irritating snags on clothing and the moist skin. Really good.

arrived next day which was brilluant

After a successful year with the Acticheck Assure band giving me peace of mind, I renewed online by purchasing a new puck, wristband and Fallback Response Centre facility. The online purchasing procedure was really quick and easy, and delivery was within 48 hours. Synchronising the new puck with the base unit was fully explained and easy, and I was up and running with the mobile app in no time. Here's to another year of protection. On an amusing note, I flopped down onto the sofa and watched TV and didn't move for a few moments. This triggered a 'fall' alarm buzz which proves the wristband is very effective. I easily cancelled the alarm, but it has taught me to move more 'sedately' !

This is my second renewal of the service. Fortunately I haven't had to use it for real yet, but it's a comfort to know it's there if necessary.
What has been especially useful is the assistance Karl has given me to locate my wrist band on the two occasions I have misplaced it.

Very easy to fit replacement puck. Have become used to wearing the band. Haven't needed to use yet (long may that continue!) so can't actually comment on whether it works or not, sorry.

My mother in law developed an allergic reaction to the original wristband. When I contacted acticheck they were extremely helpful and quick to respond, with a suggestion for an alternative strap that is ideal and more comfortable to wear

We've been with Acticheck for three years now and never had an issue with it. The system is user-friendly and very reliable. You can be safe in the knowledge that your loved one's security and wellbeing are being constantly monitored and responded to, if needed, in real time. In my humble opinion, you can't put a price on the peace of mind Acticheck provides. Karl is always happy (literally!) to answer any queries you may have and he deserves the highest accolade for his customer service. I highly recommend Acticheck as I personally believe it is the best system of this type on the market.
