A seamless exercise, no issues whatsoever

My mum's had one of these for a year or so now. Luckily she hasn't needed to use it for an emergency, but it's reassuring that she has it. I particularly like the activity graph so I can check she's not lying motionless whenever I might realise I've not spoken to her for a while. We also particularly like the fact it's waterproof and doesn't need charging. My mum is very non-technically-minded so the fancier ones with integrated phone functionality which require charging regularly would just be too much hassle. We've had a couple of false 'fall' alarms, but easily cancelled by my mum responding to the phone call (she forgets she can press one button to cancel). I've adjusted the base unit settings so the 'siren' only sounds briefly when the alarm is triggered as the ongoing siren distressed my mum when there was a false alarms. I stopped the 'I'm ok' checks because my mum didn't always feel the vibration and ended up triggering an alarm. Instead, I have a quick look at her activity line morning & evening. My mum doesn't use a smartphone so we haven't connected it to work when she's out and about, but if she were to fall when she's out, someone would see her quite soon. The worry for me was when she's at home or in her garden where nobody can see her, so the Acticheck Assure alleviates that worry. Overall I like it because it is simple, waterproof (so can be kept on while showering) & effective. Also, my mum didn't want one dangling round her neck so is happy with the Assure which is worn like a watch.

The wristband is comfortable. I feel so much more secure knowing that I have responders looking over me!

No problem changing the puck

Have had an Acticheck now for over two years, have only used it twice to call for help, both times times help was with me within twenty minutes, luckily no injuries occurred.

I’ve only had this for two weeks and so far it does what it is supposed to do! However, if I have a query, then a quick phone call to Acticheck and the query has been answered very clearly = one satisfied customer!

The new wristband arrived the next day. It was simple to replace the old one and it is good to know that it is safe to wear and is not going to fall off.
