My daughter set it up for me. Wearing the Wristband isn’t a problem, you get use to wearing it after awhile. I only have the Wristband as an alarm incase I fall or an emergency.

haven t needed it, that s the best bit! Seems easy to operate and fits on and off easily now the strap has softened up. Helpful back up team if any queries occur.

We, the whole family are blown away with the Acticheck wristband. The technology is far superior to what I expected and my Mum is happy in the knowledge we are only the press of a button away. I don’t have great IT skills but found the set up pretty straightforward so long as you read the manual, you shouldn’t have any issues. I did call the support line just to check that when bracelet is pressed that the call goes through to landline and was advised that is correct as it gives the wearer the opportunity to cancel in the event of a false alarm. I did spend a lot of time thinking whether it was worth the money before buying, but quite honestly, if you don’t necessarily want to be tied to a call centre, (although you can choose this option)then buy this. So many settings that you can check on the individual, see they are up and about etc. I really can’t recommend highly enough! You won’t regret the purchase.

The company rang me to let me know it was time to replace the puck on my mother's wrist band. They sent the replacement by return, along with instructions for returning the used puck and a stamped addressed label – it couldn't have been easier. Very good service.

We purchased the Acticheck system in 2019, and this transaction was for the replacement 'puck' a year later. We were contacted by Acticheck in good time to remind us, and the puck arrived with my parents extremely quickly. When my elderly parents had trouble understanding how to replace the puck, Karl at Acticheck willingly phoned them on a Saturday to give guidance. This company, I believe, invented and make this system and we have been delighted with the whole experience – especially that, if you need to contact them, Karl or Bill are available without fail and have always resolved any hiccups (mostly user confusion). Very happy.

having a scare in the middle of the night and being unsure of who to call to take me into hospital – we decided to look at a system that would monitor me as I live on my own. So far I haven't needed it – but hey that's all good 🙂 my health is not going to improve – so this will be a godsend to my sister, son and next door neighbour.

I believe this is the best product on the market today.
Bought one for my father who has reduced mobility and now have the reassurance that should he have any issues we will be notified immediately.

Setting up is easy if you are used to dealing with digital devices but clear instructions are included for those who are less technically aware.
Communication with Karl is simple and he is only too willing to help with any issues.
The band appears to be comfortable to wear – no complaints from my father after a week.
The fact it does not require frequent charging is a big bonus and knowing that the battery level is monitored by acticheck is comforting.
If you are unsure due to what you believe to be a high cost, when you realise this is the full cost for the year – no installation fee, no monthly charge – it is very competitive and even more so for following years, particularly for such a quality product.
The band can be checked easily to determine the range of operation around the house and garden – no issues there, and being able to link it to my father's mobile allows coverage when he is further afield.
Overall a quality product – only comment, and while not a negative but possibly an improvement would be an app for the administrators rather than going through a web page each time.

I received a phone call from Acticheck informing me that the battery in my band was running low earlier than expected and needed to be replaced. The process of ordering, receiving, fitting a new puck and returning the old one was trouble free and all completed within two working days. Fast and efficient service.
