Simple, effective & good price
Still happy with this after about 3 years (so two new battery pucks). It's very reassuring and the activity graph gives me an idea how my mum has slept (and also let's me check she's not completely motionless during the day!). It's great and especially for someone like my mum who glazed over with any dirt of technology. She doesn't have to charge it or know anything about how to work it except pressing the 2 buttons in an emergency.

Best system I’ve tried
Very pleased with my bracelet it’s comfortable and easy to use and the checks in the morning come on time apart from two occasions when the internet was flashing . Each of those times it was a Saturday and the check vibration on those two occasions came 20mins late, Otherwise the check is on time and reassuring.

It’s nice to know that I’ve got help when needed.
But there are times it goes off for no reason sometimes 2/3 times day even if I’m sitting in chair , don’t know why .

Response from Acticheck: Thank you – we're glad you feel reassured when wearing the Acticheck wristband. The wristband can buzz when it detects an impact, which may be indicating a fall. If you find you're getting too many of these, it could be worth adjusting your settings from Normal to Active – many of our users do this as they do a lot of gardening or 'talk with their hands'! This would reduce the amount of false alarms, or pre-alert buzzes, if you feel there are to many? Remember, all you have to do is press one button if it does buzz and that will let everyone know you're ok and stop any alert process.

Response from Acticheck: Hi Susan – we've checked your system and can assure you that your band is consistently very well connected and, unlike some other systems, there are several ways of verifying your connection, such as looking at your charts in your MyActicheck account, as well as yourself or your Admins receiving email notifications should anything be amiss. To put your mind at rest, it may be worth setting up one of our unique I'm OK checks, which are a great way of knowing everything's working as well as everyone else knowing you're OK.
